Funds available before delivery?
Does the eBay funds availability icon, once it turns green, mean that the package has been delivered even if the tracking hasn't updated? Is that possible?

The unlocking of funds is decided by an algorithm and is not directly related to:
- item shipped
- item received
- feedback received
If you are a reliable and active seller, usually after 2 days you receive the bank transfer.
If you are a new seller or an infrequent seller, you may have to wait up to 30 days depending on a series of variables decided by the algorithm.
To become an active seller, you need to make a series of continuous sales without encountering problems in order to have payments unlocked after 2 days.

·1 year agothe fund availability and package delivery follow two different "paths": as Mario also pointed out, fund availability depends on various factors, including for example whether the seller is "active" or not.....
usually, if the seller is considered "verified" (so active and not considered risky.... ) , the payment arrives in the eBay-linked account regardless of whether the package has been delivered or not, except that if it doesn’t arrive, the buyer can then open a not delivered item dispute....

eBay fund releases are not tied to delivery of the item. It depends solely on the seller’s presumed reliability; new or infrequent sellers have their funds on hold for 15 days.
New or infrequent sellers will see their transaction on hold for the time needed to become familiar with best selling practices. This helps sellers build and create a secure selling history on eBay. New sellers are usually subject to holds for up to 14 days, although sometimes the times can be longer
