pending funds
Hello everyone, I should say that I’ve been registered since 2006, with more than 60 reviews and positive feedback. I wanted to know why we have to wait more than a week to release the funds. Users who have already paid and left positive feedback, and even so I still have to wait more than a week. I don’t understand..does anyone know why?

·7 months agoBecause integrating a system that takes these variables into account (positive feedback left or tracking that confirms delivery) is much more complex to implement than a simple 14-day countdown for releasing the funds.
These measures are adopted only for new sellers and/or old sellers who are not very active because it could happen that a seller might decide to cash in the money, empty the account, and then not ship anything or ship a brick.

Of course it can be changed, there’s a specific option, both on PC and on smartphone

·7 months agoBy default it is set to 2 days.
But it can be extended up to 40 days.
But if you want to set packaging times of more than 7 days, I recommend shipping anyway right away because buyers get impatient easily and then ask to cancel the sale.
Then I also recommend writing in the listing that you usually ship within 2 or 3 working days; otherwise, if a buyer sees an estimated delivery time that is too long, they might not buy the item.
To change the shipping and packaging time, you need to go to edit listing and right after that, in the settings for domestic and international shipping, you’ll find the settings for shipping and packaging times.
But if your idea is to set a packaging time of 15~20 days so as to avoid / bypass the 14-day payment hold and ship the item after you have received payment, I’ll tell you right away that it’s not the smartest choice to make.
