bulk listing insertion
hello everyone, I need to post hundreds of listings, so I went to study in the sellers area the system for adding lots of them at once, to save time. I downloaded the Excel file, and I was doing a test with entering the products. But in the photo upload category, it asks me to enter the photo URL. But honestly I don’t understand how I’m supposed to get the photo URL if my photos are just in a normal folder in jpg format... if someone can help me, thanks in advance

·2 years agoAs a seller registered as "private", before putting in "hundreds" of auctions, I’d recommend taking a look at the DAC7 directive, which has also been transposed in Italy since last year and has therefore been actively in force since this year.
That said, a site dedicated to photo sharing (e.g. Imgur) might be suitable for him.

·2 years agoYou could try uploading them to some free cloud service, like Microsoft Onedrive; once all the images are hosted, when you go to select one you should see various options, including "Share" and from there the share URL, which you can then transfer into the system you plan to use.

meaning of URL: "The URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is a sequence of characters that uniquely identifies the address of a resource on the Internet, such as a document or an image. It is the element that allows us to find a website, that is, the address we type into the browser when we search for a page or a file."
So if your photos are in a folder on your PC, you can't use that method.

OP2 years agoyes this was clear to me, I know what a url is. I was wondering, exactly how to do it, if there is a dedicated site where you can upload them and get the url. If someone uses bulk upload, what method do they use? if you can give an example, thanks.

·2 years agoIf you go to eBay's Sellers Console and type in bulk listing insertion system,
it seems to me that you can organize yourself to put a certain number of forms online with small variations.
Without using a paid optimization tool. Personally, I wouldn't use anything like that, since to anyone looking at it it's uniquely dehumanizing and deeply exasperating in its monotony. But I'm not a professional seller with hundreds of items to offer, who know how to optimize these functions with efficient systems. But suppose I had 20 books to offer. You must have seen too how many of these listings end up looking. I've seen some, and they looked like they were made by a ten-year-old. Every book, even if different, had the same comment: 'nice book for kids. payment within three days of acquisition. I don't use untracked mail. All books are to be considered used like new. The rule of seen and liked applies, I don't make further discounts, etc.' All the listings like that. When I looked at them I wondered who would stop for a microsecond to read them. I just know that if they paid me to do a test, I would turn down the offer. 😃 But again, I don't have hundreds of listings in the pipeline. Best regards from von

·2 years agoGenerally, bulk listing is used by professional sellers who, generally speaking, also have a personal website where they upload their images to their own server.
