Absolutely crazy and mind-blowing....I'm a seller, 19 years on eBay and never had a problem, never any negative feedback, never broke any rules, and they block one of my listings saying it "violates the rules on search manipulation" !!!!To be clear, I was selling an 80s radio transmitter, brand "Robbe," with a receiver for remote-controlled cars, and in the title I literally wrote "Robbe radio transmitter with vintage receiver for remote-controlled cars".... well, the listing got blocked because it violates those damn rules. I appeal and call eBay, because I can accept that I may have missed something, but if you eBay block me, at least tell me exactly which keyword was used that violates the rules, then we can discuss it and next time I'll avoid that word. The agent puts me on hold to ask colleagues for information and tells me there's a keyword in the title that isn't allowed and violates the rules... okay, what is this blessed word???? he doesn't know....I ask him to file a complaint with the appropriate department because if I sell a Robbe radio and write Robbe radio I really don't understand what the problem could be..... shortly after I get a written reply from the appropriate department and I'll copy and paste it here: "Dear xxxxx.We have reviewed your complaint regarding an action taken on your account. We are here to help.Thank you" That was eBay's response, copied word for word with all the mistakes in Italian, and even there they don't tell you what the problem is or rather which keyword in the title is not allowed....I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET OUT OF THIS MESS, you can't talk to anyone, everything is handled by the famous AI artificial intelligence (worthless AI) and they tell you that if you disagree you should go to court.... and meanwhile I end up with this listing that keeps getting highlighted in red with the words violates the rules and I can't neither edit it nor delete it.Sorry for the rant, but I think this is truly an incredible and mind-blowing story.....I won't make it to 20 years on eBay, I'm fed up and I'll close all my listings to go sell elsewhere.
