Good evening, I listed some personal perfumes for sale, with a listing with variants, in various fragrances.
These are very well-known perfumes in Italy, and they were also advertised on TV.

What to do
You cannot relist items included in listings that we closed. Make sure your current and future listings comply with these rules.
What these rules consist of
The following types of items are not allowed:
- Items recalled by the manufacturer or by a government agency
- Products that do not comply with product safety laws. This includes, but is not limited to: Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), Electrical Equipment (safety) Regulations 2016, Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994 and Regulation 1223/2009 on cosmetic products
- Items that pose a risk to health or safety as specified by any government agency
- Items whose sale is prohibited by law for health or safety reasonsIf you ship items abroad, you must comply with all laws and regulations in force in the destination countries. We will remove any items that are reported to us as recalled or unsafe by international regulatory authorities:
- US Consumer Product and Safety Commission (CPSC - in English)
- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA - in English)
- EU product safety authority
- European Commission (Safety gate/Rapex)
- UK Office of Product Safety and Standards (OPSS - in English)
- Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD - in English)

·2 years agoDid you end up solving the problem? Because they keep sending me these emails too and removing products I sold without any issues, for which they even left me positive feedback.

·2 years agoActually there would be a problem. Some of your listings violate eBay rules and must be removed.

·2 years agoIt could also be as you say, but I'm not the only one selling them, I'm just the only one whose listings get removed.. just type in the product type and see how many rechargeable batteries I sell..
Maybe if you have a solution to this, I'd be happy to hear it..

·2 years agoIt's forbidden and you can't hide behind the excuse "but I'm not the only one selling them"... like when you get a speeding ticket... what do you say to the cop, "I'm not the only one driving fast?"... I think the cop would have a good laugh!
The solution against the removal of prohibited items?
Don't put them up for sale... seems pretty simple to me!
It's pointless to complain later if ebay closes your account.

·2 years agoselling loose lithium-ion batteries is prohibited by Ebay's rules (which you should read) ..... the excuse that others sell them is, as other users have pointed out, useless and pretextual...
your current problem is, as you pointed out, that Ebay has already suspended some of your items (and so, you're in their "crosshairs") , so I'd think about that..... it may be that Ebay won't stop at just deleting the non-compliant listings if it finds others.....
