·2 years agoYou haven't discovered anything new... whoever states it in the listing does so because it's included in the cost of the item and it increases visibility on eBay.
Kind regards.

·2 years agoobviously free shipping doesn't exist....... whoever puts it there includes it in the item price;
in short, putting "free shipping" in my opinion can make sense for those who buy/sell items individually, or else it is used as an "attraction" for the buyer
we shouldn't rule out the possibility that Ebay's "parameters" somehow favor listings where it is indicated..... just to give an example, anyone who enters free shipping in the case of feedback effectively receives 5 stars automatically ...

·2 years agoJust my thoughts as a buyer:
free shipping can make sense when shipping costs are set to zero once a minimum spending threshold is reached.
Otherwise:
bye

·2 years agoMany sellers list the same items with both sales options, with free shipping and with shipping costs to be added to the item.

Then you find buyers who purchase ONLY if they find shipping costs FREE and maybe buy 10 items from the same seller paying a total of 10 shipping charges.
