eBay support not available after email:
“We are preparing your tax transparency report for 2024” non-professional sellers.
First eBay invites/badgers you with emails/banners to sell unwanted items/gifts with 150 free listings per month (even without holiday season fees) then it has to report tax data for having exceeded 30 transactions/€2000 in a year ?! Why in the emails/messages sell for free you only pay if you sell they did NOT WARN about these limitations? It’s A DISGRACE .. it’s been a day and support has disappeared ! What happens now?
EBAY CAN YOU PLEASE REPLY ?

·1 year agoGot it, folks, anger, jealousy and frustration at not being trespassers... We’ve got a Musk here who got rich selling on eBay without respecting the law and YOU GOT TO BE: jealous, resentful and angry! How can you not root for the authorities when faced with characters like this? As Dante wrote: "Fere lo sol lo fango all day long: it remains vile, nor does the sun lose its heat"

·1 year agoBetween people who define and justify tax evasion with the evergreen excuse of survival and those who dare to label people who simply wish for respect of the law in force with unrepeatable insults, I’d say we have a good snapshot of the worst side of little Italy.

·1 year agoHi re-liab-le
Why are you taking it out on eBay?
These are the eBay links where they explain how it works with DAC7
https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/selling/direttiva-dac7-legge-sulla-trasparenza-fiscale-delle-piattaforme-obblighi-di-comunicazione-materia-di-vendite?id=5394
This is a September 2023 link
https://www.ebay.it/spaziovenditori/novita-venditori/settembre-2023/dac7
You need to inform yourself; you can't expect that a European tax directive where eBay is neither the promoter nor the spokesperson can be the subject of an email communication.
Sorry, but that's too convenient.
Kind regards

·1 year agoAside from the fact that ignorance of the law is no excuse, the DAC7 regulation is nothing new, so there’s no point being surprised now!
What happens?
If you have records of the used items you sell and can therefore prove they were your property, you have nothing to fear... if, on the other hand, you were selling items that you bought specifically to resell, that makes you an unauthorized seller and so the data that eBay will provide to the Revenue Agency will prove that.
Have a good day.

·1 year agoI saw all your replies on the Dac7 issue, I can see you enjoy playing the spotless moralizer. I know people like you, you're just a miserable...

·1 year agoYou shouldn’t worry at all about my replies, but you should worry about what’s coming for you... so if I’m a loser, you’re a parasite living off the people who pay taxes, including for you!
Who’s the worse of the two??

·1 year agoI believe there’s no need to create unnecessary alarmism. First of all, we’ll need to understand how the Revenue Agency will handle the millions of accounts to be checked and how long it will take to do so, bearing in mind that it’s not just eBay involved but all online sales platforms. Second, if you ever happen to run into a tax audit, what happens is that you get a registered letter at home asking you to pay X euros for unpaid taxes and various penalties. You pay (or possibly appeal) and that’s the end of it. You should only worry if you have e-commerce-level numbers (there’s a criminal aspect) or if, in the end, you don’t have the money to pay what the tax authorities ask for.

·1 year agoThe problem is that between the minimum administrative fine and opening a VAT number, with payment of the annual minimum INPS contribution (for the past 2024), you need more than 5000 euros (103 + 516 + 4515.43).
Not to mention the fact that they could then go back up to the previous 5 years.

·1 year agoIt all depends on the numbers. Obviously, if you can support a VAT number, it would be best to get things in order right away. The problem is for those with low margins and maybe those 3-4,000 euros a year they make under the table on eBay to get by as best they can.

·1 year agoYour answers don’t bother me at all, they just piss me off. Like I said, I know little people like you well, keepers of the truth'

·1 year agoInstead, people like you who are there illegally piss me off, the ones who couldn’t care less about the laws and think they can always get away with it... relax, go ahead and play at being a trader, but remember that in the end everything comes back... with interest!
