The free shipping option?
Hello everyone, I’ve been using ebay for years to sell (as a private seller), so I’ve learned to use it well — I’m not a newbie. It had been a while since I sold anything, and this morning I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to choose free shipping. Why doesn’t it appear in the dropdown menu? (see photo) Only standard shipping and local pickup. This is in none of the forms: simplified or advanced. I even tried entering the package’s weight and dimensions, thinking, absurdly, that it might be needed to make free shipping appear, but nothing. The small menu on the right, "see shipping options," is useless. Can anyone help me? Thanks ♥

·3 years agoMaybe you're using the eBay app rather than a web browser?
Because when you get to the shipping box, you don't have to enter any amount, neither zero nor anything else, there's simply a checkmark to select (see photo).
I also hope that this post of mine can be useful to someone who is having difficulty with eBay's selling tool via internet browser.

have you tried choosing Standard Shipping and entering 0 (zero) as the amount?

OP3 years agoHello, thanks for your reply, but I’ve solved it. The "free shipping" option only pops up AFTER choosing any courier and setting the price. Months ago the option was immediately visible, which is why I couldn’t find it today! I hope this can be useful to others too.
