informational message to customers
good evening,
I would like to inform American customers that with the introduction of the new tariffs I will no longer be able to ship by regular registered mail but only with UPS, is there a way to do this without having to write it in the descriptions of all the listings? thank you so much

·11 months agoI could be wrong (and I probably am), but I thought I’d seen that the registered letter had been restored. And it’s also gone up quite a bit.

·11 months agoPosta1 up to 100 grams has gone up, I only found out the other day.....
For 100 grams without tracking and with delivery confirmations that don't always work.....
The psychological threshold of 3 euros has been reached...

OP11 months agohi, no, at the moment it has only been reactivated by Swiss Post, I tried to ask at my local post office and they told me they haven’t received any updates about it and they only accept documents for the United States by registered mail, and even for parcels they’re reluctant to take them, despite their website saying they are accepted because they go through a different system.
for now I’ve solved it by manually editing the listings and removing registered mail for the United States. thanks to those who have replied to me so far

OP1 year agoI don't see why I should cut off the country that gives me 70% of my sales; I just want to inform customers that the conditions have changed without having to change almost 600 listings. I was asking if there is a way to send a global message before the potential customer buys; if it can't be done, I'll have to build up my fingertip muscles 🙂

You need to use the bulk edit tool from “My eBay”
Go to My eBay > Activity > Active listings
Select all listings (use the filter for international ones if needed).
Click on "Edit" (at the top above the listings).
The Bulk Edit Tool will open.
In the screen, select all and then click on:
Edit > Shipping > International shipping
Remove the outdated methods (e.g. International Registered Mail)
Add the new method:
International courier (e.g. UPS, DHL, etc.)
Set the new cost (e.g. €40.00) for the USA or worldwide, depending on your needs.
Best regards

·1 year agoEasy peasy ! From my eBay go to the 'preferences' section to then find the option to configure your international shipping preferences. From here you can select the countries you want to exclude. It's easy !
