They’re scamming me
Hello, today I sold some shoes to a person in Lithuania, it’s the first time I’ve used the platform for payment and he wanted to do everything outside eBay via bank transfer. It smells like a scam to me, since the money would be blocked at his bank “Arvest Bank” and to unlock it I have to authenticate myself by buying a Steam card for at least 10€, which would prove that mine is not a scam, otherwise I would have been reported and blocked, as well as a penalty being charged to my account, it seems absurd… has this ever happened to you?

You have zero feedback and it is "physiological" that potentially not-so-honest users try to get a free item, counting on the seller’s lack of experience.
Unfortunately, many people fall for it.......
Kind regards.

·2 years ago....... but you were trying to evade eBay fees, so you were complicit in the attempted scam (he was trying to scam you while you were doing it to eBay)

·2 years agoThis happens every day to people who fall for it... This type of scam has been around for years.
Forget it and don't send anything.
