Good morning, I registered my account as a seller about a week ago. Today I made my first sale and I read that I need to verify my bank account through micro-deposits, which take about three business days to arrive. Are the micro-deposits made when signing up, or today, now that my first payment has arrived and is still in the pending funds?
Thanks,
Luca

·1 year agoYes, also because we're talking about a SEPA transfer INCOMING.
If it had been outgoing I would have even understood it.....
If you sell items for a few euros, the 40 cents are felt.

·1 year agoWhen instead you get a debit of 0.01 then a credit of 0.01 and then a debit of 0.40 what do I need to enter given that there are only two credits I can enter ??
sika700
·1 year agoThe 40 cents are the fees that the Banco Posta account or the Evolution card charges you for direct debit of micro-loans.
Check your bank statement carefully.
Have a good day.

·3 years agoI don't understand by what procedure Ebay can take back money (microcredits) paid into a current account. Usually you can make a bank transfer, but then you can't get back that transfer you sent.
daxsisko
·3 years agovery possible since, in fact, by accepting the procedure, you authorize E-bay to make the debit withdrawal: if you block it (the withdrawal) through your bank, automatically E-bay will either not make the micro-deposits for you or, if you later sell some item, you won't receive the money from the sales

·3 years ago...not to mention the fact that the timing for micro credits is also relatively short.
As a new seller you’ll also have to wait at least 14 days before seeing the funds unlocked, so micro credits are the least of the problems...

·3 years agoIn fact, he’ll have to wait at least 14 days, if not more since he’s a new user, and he’ll have to ship well before seeing the money in his IBAN.

·3 years agoI’d add that the verification isn’t automatic, you have to choose the method you prefer and then do it...
Best regards.

·3 years agoGenerally, verification with micro-deposits is done immediately, but it’s not the only method they can use to verify the account.

·3 years agoSince the last time I saw this link, I noticed that eBay has added this NOTICE
DO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE AMOUNTS UNTIL.......
If they had to add it, it means that many users were entering random amounts and I’m not surprised that then their accounts got blocked beyond repair.
For the system this is certainly interpreted as a RED ALERT.
It seems incredible that someone not only thought of it but actually entered random amounts (but if they went to the trouble of adding that warning, it means many people did it)
How many discussions have I read about accounts blocked during IBAN validation.....
Best regards.

·2 years agoHi, I tried putting them in randomly and the system got blocked after so many attempts. Now I have to add an updated statement for the last 3 months, which I can't seem to find. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
marioelegio
·2 years agoAsk your bank for a statement with the list of transactions from the last 3 months; all banks (including the post office) issue this document.

·2 years agoGood morning
You are not the first, nor will you be the last, to come to the forum because you were blocked by the system.
But at least you described exactly how things went...
This thing of entering random numbers is something many people do.......
What can I say? Contact eBay support and explain the situation so they can unblock the procedure for you and maybe have you do it again correctly.
The microcredits are not necessarily credited to you because it depends on the bank.
So, as marioelegio wrote, check your bank statement for these microcredits or contact your bank to ask whether there are minimum receipt limits for international transfers.
Some banks only accept minimum amounts of 5 or 10 euros.
Kind regards.
