I can't create a listing with variants
Good evening,
I'm trying to create a listing with multiple variants (for example, magazines that contain different issues and therefore different covers). Since there are so many, I'd like to create one listing and not open a listing for each individual magazine, and add, for example, 50 photos. Is it possible to let them select a photo (with the cover of each magazine), so that they can put the chosen magazine in their cart?
I can't seem to create the listing though; maybe it's not possible?
Thanks for the help

·3 years agoYes, it can be done as long as the main title is the same for all items; it can be generic, like "magazine, etc...." then inside you will find the sections where you can enter the description (with the related photo) that will appear in the selection of the item to buy. You can find information in eBay help at this link https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/multiquantity-listings-listings-variations?id=4150&st=3&pos=1&query=Inserzioni%20con%20pi%C3%B9%20oggetti%20e%20inserzioni%20con%20varianti&intent=inserzioni%20con%20varianti&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1059

OP3 years agoFrom my phone I managed to open a listing with variations, even though I’m not a professional seller, however, now I’m on the computer and I can’t manage to do it. I was following this guide:

OP3 years agoPS I'm following a tutorial, but in its listing there is the 'variants' option; however, when I create a listing, I don't have this option. What should I do?

·3 years agoThe option never appears when you start from an existing listing by clicking on "sell one like this" because it copies that listing's settings (photos included). If you start from a brand-new listing, there shouldn't be any problems. If you still run into them despite following what was indicated in the link from the previous comment, then you'll need to contact support by clicking at the bottom of that page on "ask us to call you". Of course they will call you on the phone number you registered on eBay, usually after a few minutes. Let us know if you've solved it and how.
