The service you are referring to (corresponding to the rates you entered) is called international postapriority.

International priority mail includes a code to check whether delivery was completed, but unfortunately, from direct experience with about twenty shipments, I can tell you that it DOES NOT WORK.
On the website, they refer to a specific format called mechanized format because, according to them, since everything is automated, by using a specific format and placing the code in a specific part of the envelope, it should be detected, but that is not the case.
In practice, the service does not have a functioning proof of delivery.
So if you need to use it to send something abroad, you have to rely only on the buyer’s good faith and honesty.
The service works quite well in terms of delivery speed.

OP3 years agoIn fact, just the shipment-completed outcome on its own.... fortunately, claims are still limited to just a few shipments, hopefully it won’t end up like Posta 4 with stamp, where over time 10 out of 10 declared they hadn’t received it

·3 years agoPosta 1 can’t be considered a tracked shipment in Italy, let alone abroad.
You can only see if your letter has arrived at the Poste Italiane Exchange center by using the service Track Shipments or via the Post Office App.
