PostePay Evolution and Bank Current Account
Summary: The discussion concerns PostePay Evolution and a bank current account, but the specific content of the contributions is not available.
Good morning,
I have been an Ebay user since 2009 and lately I have put some items back up for sale.
I delegated another person to get the Postepay Evolution in order to obtain a bank current account, I registered the card in my Ebay account and the debit microtransaction was completed correctly while the credit one was not, therefore I started off with a tiny loss, confident that Ebay would resolve the issue, I started selling.
To date, after 2 calls to support, I have not managed to resolve the collection of my sales because the following message appears in my account:
-It was not possible to send your last incoming payment and the funds were credited to your available funds. No action is required from you
Now for the third time I am seeing the following red banner that says:
-As a precaution, incoming payments to your bank current account ending in 8508 may be delayed by up to 48 hours because you recently changed the details for that account
And I simply re-entered the IBAN code as advised by support, but to date my funds and my earnings from my sales are blocked.
Is this conflict possible because the card is not in my name? I have this feeling that this is the snag, but Ebay only requires the IBAN code and moreover the debit microtransaction was completed correctly...
Thank you to anyone who can help me.

·1 year agoHi, sorry to bother you, I also put my Postepay Evolution IBAN. Then did you manage to get your sales paid out, or did you have to provide a bank current account? Let me know, thanks?

·1 year agoIn evachanchan's case, the problem wasn't the Postepay Evolution (which works perfectly fine for collecting sales proceeds too); the problem was that the Postepay in question was registered in someone else's name. If the Postepay you provided is in your name, everything works normally.

·1 year agoYes, the current account must match the account holder of the ebay account.
These are the regulations:
https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/setting-changing-payment-method/updating-checking-account-details-payouts?id=4796
You need to contact an ebay representative to unlock the situation.
Kind regards.

I’m replying with what eBay says in its rules (which you’ve definitely read but probably missed):
"To receive payments, sellers must link a bank account (do not provide PayPal details). Make sure you provide a bank account where the name, address, and any business information match those provided to eBay."
"besides, the charge microtransaction went through correctly..."
Of course: everyone’s great at taking things away (the Italian state, QED...), but a little less so at giving them back (the Italian state, QED... 2) 🙂
