URGENT problem with eBay's interface causing a low conversion rate = FEWER SALES
In recent years, the vast majority of internet traffic, including e-commerce sites like eBay, has come from mobile devices such as smartphones, so it is very important that a site has an intuitive mobile interface for everyone.
We have been aware for years of a problem with eBay's mobile interface and have reported it many times, but so far no one has done anything, even though customer support agreed with us.
This problem is the visibility of descriptions (people who buy on eBay don't know what they're buying and avoid purchasing!).
You may find this absurd or ridiculous, but most buyers have told us they can't see the descriptions of the items for sale, some, well, don't even know there is a description, but most don't know how to read the full description, because they don't know that the blue text "view full description" is clickable, but aside from that (there is an objective problem) the compressed description doesn't start from the beginning but from the middle; moreover, if a customer clicks on "view full description" they also have to scroll horizontally because there is no automatic line wrap;
Even if for us sellers certain things are easy and intuitive, for most buyers they are not! Especially for those who are not familiar with using the web or the specific site, and this causes many sales to be lost.
We already had this doubt more than a year ago because of the many buyers who asked us for information about the products for sale that is listed in the description, and also because of those who opened disputes because they had bought a product with features different from what they expected simply because they had not read the description.
There are also eBay report pages that allow the problem to be verified by looking at the conversion rate; currently, the items with the best conversion rate on eBay only reach 3%.
THE CONVERSION RATE, for those who don't know, is the percentage of people who, once they have opened a listing, take an action such as buying, making an offer, or contacting the seller for more information, etc. Currently, the most successful items on eBay have a ridiculous conversion rate (3%), meaning that out of 100 visitors only 3 buy, and let's remember that in a site's analytics, before the conversion rate, the click rate and views/impressions need to be improved, which eBay could improve with a bit of advertising.
I am addressing the site's technical department, WAKE UP! This site is dying!

Best regards.
