discounted prices promotion
Hi, I started a promotion with discounted prices from 10 to 30% but it ignores all the items and gives me this message: IGNORED: Recent promotional sale. How can I fix this and why is it giving me this problem? I don't have any other promotions running

·3 years agoI've been having the same problem since last February too, and I reported it to EBAY support, but so far they haven't been able to solve the problem. I should point out that my promo had already expired 14 days earlier as expected and that the items had not been modified. Today I submitted a new promo again with 50 items that expired on February 27, and the result was that the items were IGNORED: because they were in a recent promo sale. That said, previously if by mistake you resubmitted the promo before the 14 days, it would automatically become active after the 14 days had expired. Not anymore.
I'm continuing to report the problem to EBAY but without success.

there used to be a page that explained the reason, but it’s not working at the moment... but roughly speaking I’ll try to summarize it for you: if some listings are being ignored, it’s because you made changes in the last 14 days... for the listings to be eligible for the discount, they must not have been touched in the last 14 days...
Recently, between January 10 and 12, you made several changes and you already have a promotion that started on December 30.
So, first you need to wait for the previous promotion to end and leave the listings unchanged for at least 14 days... but I don’t remember whether at the end of a previous promotion you can immediately start another one, but it seems to me that you have to wait just as long...

·3 years agoIf as you say you don’t have any other promos running, there shouldn’t be any issues unless the promotion you’re talking about has restrictions. You need to contact support, because only they can check and do checks on your account.
