Order cancellation request

Good evening everyone, a buyer just asked me to cancel an order because they wanted to give it as a gift but realized that with the delivery times it would arrive late.

I wanted to know, in this case are there any eBay fees on the sale? If so, who pays them?

I’d add that when you cancel it, if I remember correctly you’ll have the option to choose among different reasons; of course select that the cancellation is requested by the buyer, so that you don’t worsen your seller status.

To make it clearer.

If you received a payment (for example) of 100 euros, of which 10 euros were shipping costs and 5 euros were eBay fees, the buyer will receive a refund of 100 euros while you will receive a withdrawal of 100 euros.

However, you will have a negative balance on the account of -0.35 euros due to the cost of the reversal transaction.
