Good evening, I just sold in Switzerland and I noticed that eBay has withheld the customs duties, the price I am paid is net of the duties, everything seems to have changed compared to 2024, does anyone know anything? thanks

See if it’s the international rate.
Eurozone free and Europe you pay 1.6%
Switzerland falls under the 1.6% rate as shown in the table.

In Switzerland there is also a duty-free allowance below which nothing is paid. Did you sell something with a total value over 200 CFH?

·1 year agoThe 8% is Swiss VAT which corresponds to the purchase of goods and services.
So did you solve the problem?
So it was Swiss VAT that made the accounts add up, the ones that didn't?

·1 year agoThe figures still wouldn’t add up; in the case of importation, VAT would be the buyer’s responsibility.
