Private seller taxation
Good evening, I'm writing here to clear up a doubt: as a VAT number holder, can I declare my sales even without opening a professional account, therefore remaining a "private individual"? Or is it necessary to open a professional account? thanks

Off the top of my head, I think the private seller is not required to offer any warranty on the products and is not required to accept returns (the famous right of withdrawal).
So NO, it is not enough to stay with a private account.

·1 year agoFor what you sell and the way you sell it, it would be necessary to open a professional account and include contact info and VAT number on every listing.
It’s not possible for a listing from a seller with a VAT number to show: .... Registered as a private seller. Therefore, consumer rights arising from European regulations do not apply.....
