Tauchmeister, what a passion!
These watches, which aesthetically resemble Rolex models from the early 60s in many cases (roughly),
are advertised as reissues of the famous watches supplied to the German Kriegsmarine (navy) during World War II. Their Frankfurt brand dates back to 1937. Although there are various photos of German submarine crews patrolling the Atlantic Ocean with their powerful binoculars showing their left wrist, or of officers on cruisers or 'pocket' battleships in wartime, I don't recognize any of the dials offered today as reissues. In fact, these watches are all made in China except perhaps the movement. Imagination is not the strong point of many manufacturers. It's as if I were to launch today a watch with a polyurethane strap under the vonbalden brand, the watch that was on the moon on the wrists of American astronauts. What am I doing, a reissue of the 1969 Bulova Accutron that costs a tenth as much but can tickle the collective imagination? It doesn't make much sense. Unfortunately, we are not living through a period of great creativity in any sector. Quite the opposite.

·2 years agoIn pratica non possono essere cloni/copie/riproduzioni dei vecchi modelli per cui devono assomigliare ma differire in alcuni dettagli.
Per cui non sono ne carne ne pesce.
Bisogna capire se questo tipo di oggetti hanno mercato.
