I’ll take this opportunity to look at the matter from a different perspective, not aimed at authentication certification or an accompanying appraisal of the sold work. When, as a private individual, a professional, or an amateur, I decide to offer a signed painting that is not the one my son made at age 10 in after-school care, I automatically turn to interested parties in the field. Because otherwise, I wouldn’t care the slightest bit about the authenticity of the painting. Maybe I need it for the left wall of the garage that has a crack showing! But the interested party reads the description and wants the painting by the very artist I’m offering. As the seller, I must know thoroughly what I am offering. All the more so if, as a private individual, I have had the opportunity to learn its history through the passage of time. Precisely because it belonged to my family. I can’t act like that amusement park seller who offered a revolutionary liquid to make hair grow, surrounded by a crowd of curious onlookers. When a guy with money in hand asked him: what’s inside? He replied with a half-smile, addressing everyone: 'ah, I don’t know! I’m a salesman, not a chemist eh! I only sell the product! But back to us, dear audience........do you get the hint, limesc ?

OP2 years agoAs has already been made clear on many occasions by the regular responders, the user support section is absolutely not a customer service. There is a proliferation on the forum of all kinds of requests under the mistaken belief
that on the other side there is staff waiting to solve their buying or selling situation.
It is a huge mistake, a huge mistake ! In user support, advice is given on how to behave so as to navigate the platform’s buying and selling as best as possible. Experienced forum users respond.
