Selling from an Italian address with a current account in San Marino - Ebay applies VAT on used items
Hello everyone,
On my latest listings, starting this spring, 22% VAT is being applied automatically.
The listings are set with my Italian address.
It is clear that with the automatic addition of VAT, the selling prices are no longer competitive and I will have to stop selling on Ebay.
Do you have any explanation?

So I'll proceed with a new account registered with an address in Italy, in the hope that San Marino joins the EC.

The Republic of San Marino is considered a non-EU country as it does not belong to the European Union.
So this regulation applies:

As for the solution to the problem, sika700 has already given it to you
If you have a friend or relative outside of San Marino, ask him/her if they can cover for you with the sender address, which must be physically valid and usable because in case of problems with a pickup / storage of a package by the buyer or in case of returns for non-conformity you absolutely need a valid address and you cannot enter just any address.

the address that counts is the registration address... and you are registered in San Marino!
So close the account and register in Italy.
