Sale of an item with doubts about the photo
Dear community, I sold a phone in my listing that talks exclusively about the advertised phone. However, in the photos I included for the sale, I noticed that there is a photo showing a connection cable as well, which is not included in the sale but only for informational purposes regarding the type of connector that the phone is able to wire
The question is simple: in the listing I only talk about the phone (used and as a spare part) am I at fault with respect to the buyer?
Thank you
Regards to the whole community

·2 years agoIf you don’t specify that the cable is just for demonstration purposes, or you don’t retake the photo without the cable, the first thing that will be brought up if you sell it (to your huge disappointment) is: the seller did not include in the package the cable shown in the photo. Even though in collecting, and that’s not your case, the user usually asks for confirmation about the objects placed in the background that could create misunderstandings. So, make it clear. best regards

·2 years agoHello,
it depends on the buyer, if you get a picky one they may ask you for it or open a return request for missing parts (and you’ll have to handle it at your own expense!)... which is why it’s always better to photograph ONLY what you want to sell.
Kind regards.
