PROFESSIONAL SELLER WITH VAT NUMBER

Hi everyone, I have a question if I may. I recently opened a VAT number under the flat-rate tax regime to sell Pokemon cards on ebay, and I wanted to ask if I’m required to open the Store now that I have a VAT number, or if I can keep selling with the professional seller account? (of course issuing invoices and receipts) I’m asking because the 250 listings included in the 19.90 are really convenient for me, since 90% of them are auctions and with the basic store I’d only have 40 😞

you can sell however you want, but if you have a VAT number it would be best to switch from private (as currently indicated in your account) to professional (entering the missing details)

if you have any doubts you can still consult Ebay support (possibly asking them to transfer you to the dedicated "department" ..... not always the first operator who answers is "well versed" in certain questions...... )

as Sika pointed out, I agree that, for various reasons, it is better to make "buy it now" listings

If you have a VAT number, you forgot the most important thing: update your account by entering it!

You can sell however you prefer, but since you're "professional" it's better to use Buy It Now.
