If Ebay doesn’t implement other systems too, users will buy on other platforms.
Installment payments in three installments at zero interest are possible through PayPal. But it is reserved for customers deemed reliable, at the sole discretion of PAYPAL itself.
The "Pay in 3 installments" offered by Paypal already exists...
Remember that at the AdE you can also make installment payments... this way there would be fewer unauthorized sellers using private accounts to sell new items!

How long has it been since you last made purchases on eBay?
On eBay, for more than a year now, the installment payment option with PayPal has ALWAYS been highlighted / advertised at the time of payment.
