·1 month agocompletely useless: that's the link to the Ebay / Packlink manager, here we're talking about the new Ebay shipping manager

OP1 month agoExactly, as daxsisko wrote, that is the old process via Packlink. Now the label is sold directly through eBay and that link no longer works (and apparently support doesn't even know that... absurd!)

OP1 month agoSame here, in case of any loss or damage, how do you make a claim?

·1 month agocontact Ebay support...... which will most likely not solve anything..... assuming they even reply, given that, with the change in rules on September 1, they will be literally "flooded" with requests for clarification......

OP1 month agoAnd indeed, customer support is, as always, useless. Automated and incomprehensible replies. When I asked to open a complaint for the delay against the courier, the response was that I must ask (me as the seller) the buyer to open a dispute against me for an item not received. Pure madness.
I buy a label on eBay through them and I’m the one who has to bear the damage.

·1 month ago · Editedyeah.... a leopard can't change its spots.....
so support advises the seller to open a dispute against themselves for item not received by the recipient = translated in practical terms, one risks losing both the item and the money, since it could happen that the shipment ( bought from them with the new fantastic Ebay shipping manager ....... ) just disappears and no one knows what happened to it.....
anyway I'd say nothing new..... with every change of rules , Ebay then regularly brings up new problems.....

OP1 month agoYeah, and the funny thing is they send you questionnaires like "how are we doing? "
And there you already are, giving them a piece of your mind.. but it never changes anything anyway.
Another thing I’ve been asking for years is for them to send us customers’ tax codes for issuing sales invoices. Sensitive data ... but if I pay for software, they can provide the data.
With all the commissions they take on sales, they treat sellers like slaves.
