Shipping to the USA in 2026. What should we use?

Hello, for shipments to the USA, which courier do you use if you currently do them? In your opinion, if you don't do them, is it still possible to remain registered on eBay.com? Regards and thanks for any reply. Alessandro

You need to check whether Poste Italiane has removed the restrictions toward the USA for international registered mail.
Then, if I’m not mistaken, international registered mail was replaced by another service whose name I can’t remember; it would be best to ask the post office directly if you decide to use Poste Italiane.

If you have an account on ebay.com, you can keep it as a buyer without any problems, but if you then enter an Italian shipping address, you’ll still have trouble buying from those sellers who don’t ship to Italy.
At that point, you might as well buy with an Italian eBay account and possibly use the international shipping service offered by eBay.
To buy from the USA to Italy, you’d have fewer problems with the Italian account than with the American one.

off the top of my head I’d go with Poste Italiane, but with registered and insured options. It also depends on the volume/size and contents with the corresponding value. It’s not just a matter of cost but also of traceability/security. Then anyway in any case a package can get lost (whether accidentally or not), which in any case makes any consideration on the matter pointless. As for registering on ebay.com, the seller has discretion to include or exclude certain countries as sales destinations, so there shouldn’t be any problems. Try checking with a listing simulation whether it’s technically possible to exclude the USA too
