User pays but wants shipping; the listing said local pickup
Hi everyone, I sold some rims. The user pays but wants shipping; I had only set local pickup. I told him to cancel the sale, but he won't, so what will happen? If I cancel it, will they want the transaction fees from me even though I didn't sell anything?

·2 weeks ago · Editedit seems obvious to me that if the buyer has paid and has no intention of picking up the item, you’ll have to cancel it (obviously due to buyer error, since they’re requesting shipping that wasn’t предусмотрed) and issue the corresponding refund (I remind you that only the seller can cancel, the buyer can’t do it, at most they can request the cancellation from the seller) ........
if you wait, the buyer will most likely open an item not delivered dispute as soon as possible......
it’s up to you to decide which is worse......

OP2 weeks agoBut I want to cancel the issue where it asks me to enter a payment for the fees, I mean do I have to pay for what, for a customer error? Also, PayPal doesn’t accept it and I don’t have cards with an IBAN, what do I put?

·2 weeks agoIf you cancel properly, you’ll also get the fees refunded, it’ll just take a little time.

·2 weeks ago · Editedfrom 1 September (so from the beginning of the month) payments remain in the Ebay balance: so if someone cancels (and obviously has not made listings with options that involve a payment), the money received is taken from that balance (unless, of course, it has already been immediately moved to the associated account that the seller is required to provide to Ebay);
in the specific case, buyer error: for example, 100 eur came into the balance, the refund will be 100 eur taken from the balance; if there are additional fees to pay, they will be taken from the balance (if there was other money from previous sales), otherwise they will be taken from the account associated with the balance......
