Switzerland was 2015,  the mallards were at Lake Tahoe ( see spawning salmon under the water), the gulls at Sarasota, the Statue was at Vimy Ridge Memorial, France.  Flanders was beautiful in an eerie way, more coming.

Oh yeah....I didn't notice them until you said that....very cool. I remember going to Lake Tahoe a long time ago when I was still a kid, but I don't remember much about the area. It would be nice to go back and visit it again.  

By the way....the woodpecker is gorgeous! What's he doing? Admiring himselff in your window?
