she's an established children's and YA author, some of her books were actually on the school curriculum in oz . now she does symposiums and lectures and stuff now and then, and the occasional tv interview.
she's 75 now, so she justs writes for her( and our ) entertainment now, she's really good at satirical poetry, a very funny woman! and as sweet as can be, but her humor's got a bite to it when you mess with her, ilove to bits.
love the 2 syds( that's my niece's name!) although the one with the blond hair spells her name CYD instead. the other one is from wisconsin, the one that did the en papilotte salmon, so i'm a little partial to her. gonzalo is adorable! and i love the redheaded boy, mark, and elizabeth, the little girl who did a fundraiser to go to the auditions..after tonight i'll post all the names for us, since it's hard to remember sometimes.
what i love about this show is how much encouragement they get from all the judges, and how much they give to each other, that is just so cool!
