Return of an order
Summary: A discussion regarding the return of an order, in which several participants contributed with messages but no specific content was available to summarize.
Hello, I bought 4 tires on ebay and received them as ordered.
Unfortunately, the wrong size was purchased by mistake for my vehicle.
Need to return.
I go to my ebay and select the order.
I make a return request.
I use the ebay return label purchase service.
I select the order to return and expect a label to be generated automatically for the order as received.
The system, however, forces me to enter the dimensions of the package to be returned.
making a mistake .... having received 4 loose tires from the seller .....not being sure I entered the measurements of a single tire.
I realize that I have generated a label that will not cover the return of 4 tires but only 1.
I have already purchased the label.
I think I need to generate another label entering dimensions and weights to cover the shipping cost of the other 3 tires.
The system, ebay, does not allow me to produce new labels for that specific order.
A nightmare!
To be able to generate correct return labels, I canceled the return procedure thinking I would start another one from scratch and be able to generate the correct label.
All wrong, from my ebay I can no longer start a return for that specific order.
I can't speak to an operator on the phone.
Any suggestions or advice or solutions?
Thanks,
Salvatore

Remember that with a multi-parcel shipment you save a bit on shipping compared to 4 separate shipments, but I recommend doing a simulation to see how much it would cost you to ship back 4 tires, which even on PayPal would be at your expense.

·1 year agoOn eBay returns / shipments, you can't make a shipment with multiple parcels, so you have to make 4 separate shipments, which in any case you can't do.
Other shipping services don't have this limit.
You could choose to return the item with another shipping service that supported shipments with multiple parcels.
By now the damage is done and on eBay you can't do anything anymore.
If you open a PayPal dispute, remember to use a shipping service different from eBay's; go on Google and search for cheap shipping.
A service that supports multi-parcel shipping is "spediamo.it" — take a look at it.
Kind regards.

on eBay you can’t do anything anymore.
You can contact the payment method; if you paid with Paypal you can open a dispute directly on their site.
Best regards.
