Open controversy without sense
I sold an item, shipped quickly as always. You know that ebay sets a maximum date for the package to arrive, which it shouldn't do since it's often just two days after shipping. Well, the buyer opened a dispute for item not received as soon as the day after that deadline. I wrote to him that it's not up to me, and he replied that he had only seen the first tracking updates and apologized. Meanwhile the package arrives, but he does nothing, doesn't leave feedback, doesn't close it, nothing. In all this, I call customer service three times, and they tell me that the tracking doesn't show delivery to the buyer's country, even though the package is marked as delivered. Only today they tell me to contact the post office for proof of delivery and send it to them. In the meantime, they extended this dispute by 3 days. And if the post office doesn't reply within these 3 days? Has this kind of situation happened to anyone else? It's absurd that with over 300 positive feedbacks accumulated in 15 years, 50 sales all completed successfully, if I don't upload this proof they'll side with someone with 2 feedbacks. Who apparently doesn't even know how to buy online.

Mentore2 years agoSo many things have happened... so don't be surprised by anything, you've simply found a hasty buyer, without any patience.
Anyway, if the buyer does nothing, that is, doesn't ask eBay to intervene, the request will close after 21 days due to inactivity.
Kind regards.

The dispute, as written in the automatic eBay message, and as the customer service agent said, was supposed to close already yesterday or today. In fact today it was extended by 3 days and they made me understand that if I don't upload this proof, they'll side with him.
