feedback removed
It’s the first time it’s happened to me, but I’ve seen there are other similar reports: if I leave negative feedback because the packaging is done "any old way" and the goods arrive battered around (with minimal but avoidable damage), eBay removes it... a system like this is a real disappointment, what do you have to do to leave a rightful negative feedback?

Mentore1 year agoIn addition to eBay's regulations, there are laws that govern what can be written in feedback.

OP1 year agoThere were no insults or weird comments, I attached the photos of the lousy packaging and the material that got a few dents, writing that the seller user disappeared after the first messages. Nothing offensive or undocumented/documentable.

Mentore1 year agoYou can write that the item you received was not packaged properly, but you cannot write that the seller uses terrible packaging.
You can write that the seller never replied to your messages, but you cannot write that the seller does not respond to messages.
You must limit yourself to objectively describing what happened, but you cannot write any subjective comment of your own, even if drawn from your experience.

OP1 year agoIn fact, what I wrote is that the packaging used for my purchase was not suitable for containing the items (especially since it was clearly recycled from a supermarket and since not a scrap of paper had been put in to protect the things inside) and that the user stopped responding to messages when I showed him what had happened (he started replying again after the feedback, left a few days after he stopped responding), complete with attached photos of the package... I certainly did not cast doubt on the fact that other packages, past or future, are in the same condition, and I did not use any vulgar language or anything that did not respect the truth of the facts or any other rule.

Mentore1 year agoNot having seen it, I can't say anything about this feedback, but almost all the neutrals you left previously would have been removed on sellers' reports.
For example, the last one…
Item as described, seller not very helpful.
Seller not very helpful is your subjective opinion and cannot be written in feedback. The use of the present tense suggests something recurring and also valid for future transactions. You should have written that he had been unhelpful.
