Refunded item but delivered as usual

Hello, on December 30 I sold an item that I regularly shipped on December 31 with Poste. After more than two weeks the item had not arrived and the tracking was never updated, I contacted Packlink which opened a loss claim but with very long resolution times.
In the meantime the buyer was requesting a refund and Ebay was threatening action on my profile if I did not issue the refund. So I did on January 15 but after 5 days, the package magically reappeared and was delivered on January 22.
I contacted the buyer to find a solution but obviously they are not responding (never honest people) and Ebay washes its hands of it because I refunded on my own, even though I was facing a warning on my profile.
What can I do, how can I report the buyer if I don’t even have his details since Ebay doesn’t provide them!
Report through postal police or other channels? Thanks

Mentore1 year agoHow can you not have his details? Who did you send the package to?
You can report him for embezzlement if he refuses to give you the item back at your expense.

OP1 year agoHi, because the delivery was made to a pickup point, I only have the first and last name and Ebay doesn't provide me with any further details.
Should the report be filed with the postal police, or are there other channels?

Mentore1 year agoYou can also file a report with the carabinieri or police.
Ebay has special channels to provide information only to law enforcement.
