warranty replacement
Good evening, I bought an inverter in July 2022 from a German seller, unfortunately for the past 15 days the inverter has no longer been working. Considering that it is still under the 24-month warranty, I asked the seller for help and he replied asking me to do some checks, which I did and sent him the information he wanted. Since then he has not replied to me anymore, and he didn’t even reply to eBay, which stepped in. At this point I no longer have a way to contact him. What do I do? I already asked for a replacement under warranty, but he gave me no response. Should I return it at my own expense, but then I won’t get a refund? Should I turn to eBay? It’s crazy. I also bought the batteries, which after 2 years had short-circuited, and the seller, also German, sent me replacements under warranty after I returned the damaged ones. Can you advise me on how to proceed? Thanks

Mentore2 years agoThe legal warranty has limits; the most important is that, after a year, it is up to the buyer to prove that the defect was a lack of conformity from the outset and is not due to improper use on your part.
For items of that kind, it is practically impossible.
