private seller and shipped without tracking, untrackable
I wanted to know, I found a private seller who sells coffee and other things like paper napkins, detergent, etc. He’s from the United Kingdom and the goods are in Italy and he also ships within Italy. It seems strange to me that he marked the coffee package I ordered as shipped, but it’s not trackable. The package is 100 coffee capsules, it’s not a tiny package, and where it says courier it just says other without specifying what kind of courier it is. I’m wondering, I paid with PayPal, if the package doesn’t arrive, how should I deal with a private seller? Can I be refunded by PayPal or eBay? Also, he’s a seller registered since September 2024 and I don’t know if he’s reliable; he doesn’t reply to my messages

OP1 year agoHi, thank you for the link and for the prompt reply, I wanted to ask you one last thing , how long do you recommend I wait approximately, minimum / maximum, before asking eBay for help? If my package doesn’t arrive, will they definitely refund me?

Mentore1 year agoI’d say at least 3-4 days and at most about ten. Anyway, you have time up to 30 days from the delivery deadline that was indicated in the listing.
Almost always, if it was a legitimate purchase, they refund the buyer.
