Refund not received
how long does it take before I see a refund credited back onto my prepaid card? I’m asking because after 12 days, even though the order shows the refund as completed, I still haven’t seen a single euro credited back to my card, and when I spoke to the post office customer service they told me there’s no incoming transaction on my card.... now I’m wondering who I should turn to to get my money back since I have neither the item nor the money?
thanks

·1 year agoI bought several items. I paid for them the same way. Then I requested a refund for some of them. Refund accepted. One arrived in 24 hours. I am still waiting for the other after 15 days...
... meanwhile, same seller, same item, same payment method....

·1 year agoDid you receive the eBay email for both that confirmed the refund had been issued?

·1 year agoIf you received both the email and only one refund, have eBay customer service contact you and ask for the transaction tracking codes. That way you can have your bank check where the refund got stuck.

·1 year agoProcessed and received refund notification on December 19. They say three days of waiting. As of today, January 13, I still haven't seen even a single euro. Did you end up receiving yours?

·1 year agoAttention... you need to read very carefully before shooting from the hip... the eBay refund is processed in 24 hours, then it depends on the payment method you used and you will find it written that it can take from 5 up to 30 days.
Have a good day.

Kind regards.

·1 year agosame for me
refund made on November 12, by the 26th still nothing
But Amazon all the way, come on, I hadn't bought on eBay for 15 years because I'd gotten scammed, and obviously 15 years later another scam
Unbelievable that this platform can still be alive
Amazon return in 2 days, here I've been struggling since the end of October

·1 year agoIn 15 years you still haven't understood the difference between a seller (Amazon) and a platform (Ebay).

·1 year agoAmazon and eBay are two different things....
eBay is a marketplace to bring sellers and buyers together, just like Subito is.
Amazon is a retailer.
If after 15 years you needed to buy on eBay, clearly that item wasn't for sale on Amazon.
The eBay platform is still alive because the world is pretty varied and Amazon doesn't cover / satisfy 100% of buyers.
Best regards.

·2 years agoFrom the moment you received the eBay email confirming the refund, the refund was issued within the following two business days. The refund then follows the same path as the payment, in reverse.
So, if the refund was actually issued and you received confirmation of it, any time after those two days is due only to your card issuer.
