Tracking code for a return
Summary: The discussion concerns the tracking code for a return, but it lacks explicit content in the posts exchanged between the participants suamestrinita_66, marioelegio, and rin_asano.
Hi everyone!
So I had to make a return for an item that didn’t match the description, the seller accepted and will send a Bartolini courier to pick it up, moreover they confirmed to eBay that they sent me the Bartolini courier label, but what they sent me is the Bartolini pickup document with the DDT but without the AA tracking code. Now, since to reassure eBay about the courier’s future delivery and therefore not have any kind of problem with the refund, I need the tracking code, will the courier provide it to me when they pick it up? Can I request it? What should I do? I’d like to be protected
thanks

·1 year agohi, how did you end up fixing it? I'm in the same situation, even though I have all the shipping codes, pickup and also the DPD parcel code.
The item was delivered back yesterday, I'm here waiting but in practice it says that I basically haven't shipped anything, because the code it took is the parcel label number, which can't be tracked on the regular BRT website

What is the bill of lading
The document that reigns supreme in the world of transport and logistics is the bill of lading (or BOL). It certifies the transport contract between sender and carrier and contains all the details of a shipment.
Whoever the carrier is — courier, airline or railway company — becomes, for the entire duration of the journey, the custodian of the goods, while sender and recipient each keep a copy of the document.
Also known as the “shipping label”, in English shipping label or waybill, the bill of lading contains all the information needed for the correct delivery of a package:
So ask the courier for a copy of the bill of lading and enter the code.
