I shipped a comic book via Poste Italiane tracked registered mail, the item (as admitted by Poste after a complaint) was lost. The buyer rightly opened a dispute, eBay resolved it (rightly) in their favor with a refund, but I had to pay. The same thing had happened to me months ago, eBay had refunded the buyer but also determined that it was not my responsibility and did not ask me to pay the refund. What is the correct rule?
