Refund not accepted?
Hi everyone.
A few days ago I bought a product that was listed as new, but it had obvious scratches and the seller (it's not a company) admitted to having used it briefly. Returns aren't accepted, but as far as I understand, the ebay guarantee covers me.
How can I make sure I protect myself properly? Should I send the package back with return receipt requested? And what if the seller claimed that the product I sent back isn't the same one?

Return shipping costs are the seller's responsibility, and they will have to send you a prepaid label.
