Cassini algorithm and sponsorship percentage

Sometimes I don’t understand the logic of the algorithm; there are poorly made listings, titles that don’t contain any useful keywords at all, a embarrassing description, not to mention the photos that are completely unappealing, and yet, if you look at the sales history you find hundreds of items sold. I put the same product up for sale, taking care of the smallest details, and at most I sell one or two pieces a day, even though I sell the same product at a 10% lower price. At this point I wondered whether it was a matter of the promoted percentage, but if impressions increase and clicks don’t, the CTR drops; if it doesn’t sell at this stage, does the algorithm penalize it? This is where the unknown begins: if I reduce the promotion I have fewer impressions and probably fewer clicks; if I increase it I risk lowering the CTR because impressions could increase disproportionately compared to clicks. Also, every time I change the title, or the description, or the percentage, how many days do I have to wait to be sure the result of the changes is accurate? I read that Cassini needs time to index the listing with the new changes; does this mean that every time I change promotion I have to wait (from what I’ve read) at least 3 days.
So I wondered, what if I used a dynamic campaign? eBay would manage the percentage; the problem is that we’re talking about percentages that start from 9% to 19%, automatically selecting the recommended percentage, and yet I had periods when, being 4% below the recommended one, I sold 4/5 pieces a day. I went up by 2% thinking I’d take advantage of the momentum, sales stalled even though eBay would have made more money, so I don’t understand the logic behind all this.
I’m aware that every listing has its own niche and competition, but here even the feedback percentage no longer matters, people with ridiculous percentages are selling like crazy. Let’s keep in mind that, moreover, in the search results I’m clearly visible in the top 3/5/7 spots, everything seems strange to me
