Among all eBay sellers, isn't there a lawyer or a representative of a consumer association who can check whether this practice is in line with Italian and European laws and possibly start a class action??

Anyway.....
eBay’s terms include a clause that explicitly forbids class action lawsuits between users and the platform. This provision is contained in the section regarding “Legal Disputes” of the User Agreement.
According to eBay’s User Agreement, the parties agree that:
“Each of us may bring legal action against the other only on an individual basis and not as part of a class or in representative or private attorney general actions.”
First of all, you should find out what you signed up to with eBay, with PayPal, and with the Visa/Mastercard payment network.
Bank deposit = Loan to the bank
When you put money into a bank account, you are no longer keeping your money in the bank, but lending it to the bank. It’s as if you became a creditor of the bank.
So if you’ve had problems regarding refunds, the situation becomes quite complicated and complex.
Anyway, good luck and keep us updated on how it goes.

·1 year agoEbay Italia has existed since 2001
You’ve sold just 5 items and you’re already looking for lawyers??
In 24 years of activity I think they’ve figured out how Italian laws work.......
Good luck

·1 year ago1) eBay has rules, which you are supposed to read and accept before selling...... otherwise you should not even start selling on eBay.....
2) even before eBay put these rules into place, there were (and there are) brokerage companies..... which, among their various functions, basically do the same thing.... and are, of course, legal....

·1 year agoWhen you put your items up for sale, you also accepted eBay's rules, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to list them for sale.
So you were aware of it, what would a lawyer be for?
