Requirements for submitting proposals
What requirements must a seller have to be able to send proposals to people who are watching/viewing?
I don't have the option on the sales console.

·2 years agoYou need to go here:
Manage active listings - Seller Console (ebay.it)
and look for the column "Send offers - Eligible", if it isn't there it means no one is interested in your items.
Kind regards.

OP2 years agoI have several items suitable for the proposals,
with views and people watching,
but that one is NOT there!

·2 years agoTomorrow contact support and ask why this option hasn't been enabled, because only assistants have access to your account and see if there is a problem. Regards.

·2 years ago..... it's not there because...... you don't even have a "buy it now" listing.......
I am reproducing exactly part of the text from the link indicated by Mario:
"You can send an offer for any Buy It Now listing, provided it is active, has no variants and is not in a category other than Cars, motorbikes and other vehicles."
and, as Sika indicated, there must then be one or more interested buyers (according to eBay's parameters) so that the seller console - quick filters then shows the "send offer" button

OP2 years agoThanks for the reply... but it doesn't say ONLY for "Buy It Now" listings.
In fact, further down it says "If you've activated the Make an Offer option for a listing, you can make offers to buyers yourself...". The Offer option can also be added to online auction listings, without Buy It Now.
You're probably right, but the instructions aren't clear or complete.

·2 years agothat said, I confirm what I wrote earlier and add the following:
if you read the rules, activating the "purchase offer" option in a listing is very different from being able to propose directly to an interested buyer, since the "purchase offer" can only be made directly by the buyer ...... so either you read the rules thoroughly, or you contact support who will explain (.... maybe....) how it works, or you try it out....
