Hi everyone, I’d like some advice on a strange case. I bought an item and asked for it to be delivered to a Fermopoint near my friend’s house, after I had selected a click and collect option at checkout. Unfortunately, the friend I asked to pick it up wasn’t able to do so in time (within 12 days). When she went there, they told her that the item had been returned to the seller. In the meantime, I also received an email from Fermopoint informing me that the item had been returned as unclaimed. I contacted the seller twice to ask what I need to do to get it back, but they didn’t reply to my messages. I don’t know how a return request was opened in the meantime asking me for tracking details when I never actually received the item in question. After that, the seller opened a dispute because the itime window for the return had expired. The dispute about returning this item has been forwarded to eBay Customer Service. But I don’t know how to explain that it’s not possible to return something I never received. This is why I’m turning to you to ask for help and advice on how to proceed.
