I’m selling a camera, which is shipped and duly received.I specify in the description that returns are accepted and must be made within 15 days of receipt.The buyer asks for a return after 28 days, saying the camera doesn’t work.I contact Bay and explain that after 28 days the camera may have been broken by the buyer; I’m told that eBay offers a 30-day guarantee, a reasonable time for returns, during which the buyer checks it.The dispute is closed in the buyer’s favor. I call customer service again, saying I would like the camera back, and they tell me everything will be handled by ebay.comeBay this morning took the amount from my account and the buyer was refunded. At the moment the buyer is not responding to my request to send the camera back to me.Bottom line, who protects me if the buyer has been refunded but doesn’t send the camera back??
