Acquirenti sospetti

Sono stato contattato via mail eBay da in acquirente da Singapore che mi ha scritto la seguente 

"Thank for getting back to me...I will be offering you EUR 1060.00  for the item including shipping cost to my partner as gift,I want the item to be posted to her via  (EMS post), I will be paying for the item via PayPal, I'll be glad if you take my offer and get back to me with money request of EUR 1060.00 via my email id as soon as i get your money request from PayPal, i'll transfer the money into your PayPal account immediately...

Hope to read from you soon."

Come faccio ad accertarmi che non sia in tentativo di truffa? Mi sembra strano che mi venga chiesto di fare una richiesta di pagamento a PayPal, quando dovrebbe essere l'acquirente a dover cliccare su "compra" e farmi pervenire prova del pagamento, o sbaglio?

Ho anche provato a cercare assistenza su eBay per scrivere o parlare con qualcuno ma non ho trovato nulla.

Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi?
