Hallo,

Why is it that if I don't use the default shipping system offered by E-Bay, but I provide all tracking details for an alternative shipping, E-Bay pretends for weeks that the dilivery to the client hasn't yet taken place? I have an item I sold and sent this November and while the shipper's tracking system told me the product was delivered, on E-Bay the tracking system gave the item as being only dispatched. After a week it was received by the client, the E-Bay tracking system was instead reporting the item still only as "in transit".

Why does E-Bay ignore tracking details from other shippment companies and replace these details, on it's own tracking system, with incorrect and outdated ones? This practice seems to justify PayPal, in turn, to hang onto the related payment funds for extra weeks as the E-Bay tracking system reports items that have been delivered as still being on the way to the client...
