Hi, this morning I was surprised by an email from eBay that said that two of my object has been removed due to a violation of copyright.
That's curious because I've designed this item on my own, on my computer and I can prove it I've done it from scratch and I've even produced them with my 3D printer literally in my house.
So I wonder what kind of violation I've broken.
Am I free to sell on eBay an Item I've designed and produced on my own?
Even the pictures of the object are made by me, and the object hasn't the same features as any other product on eBay.
There are some items with the same function, but I think it's like saying that you can't sell a phone on eBay cause there is already another phone even if it's totally different from the previous one.
I expected eBay to be more professional with sellers since I haven't been advised of this report and I could not reply giving the proof that my item is mine from the idea to the sale.
This morning I woke up and my object was removed.
Without giving me any explanation of why it happened, giving me only the email of a person who probably is selling other objects with the same function and he wanted to kick off his opponents.
Is eBay a platform based on free-market?
I'm worried cause my object was selling well (with a rhythm of 2/3 items a week) and it took months to get there, after many satisfied customers.
I pretend to have the insertion back from when it was removed, I had also 12 observing potential clients on one of them, and 8 on the same insertion of the same object (but made for another model of camera).
It's shocking how bad people can boycott other honest sellers and how eBay permits them to do that.
I hope to solve this soon and to get back to selling my items on eBay.
If that problem did not happen it was all working well and I consider it a good platform to sell on.
But as I said it has to shelter more sellers from malicious people.
Thanks
