Good evening everyone, unfortunately I ran into a possible scam. I ordered a Rolling Stones CD box set for 150 euros free shipping but the item did not arrive I contacted the seller several times with no response. Only at the last minute did the seller reply giving me his mobile number. I called him but he answered telling me eBay doesn't accept his IBAN and he hasn't received the money. He then offered me to put the item back on sale through a friend of his who knows how to use eBay for 120 euros but obviously I first asked for a refund but he told me he's not good at doing it. So I sent him an eBay link on WhatsApp explaining how to refund the buyer but since then he hasn't answered anything and if I call he hangs up the phone. So I opened eBay dispute for item not received. After a couple of days, that is today, I also opened a dispute on PayPal but at this point the refund request on eBay was closed because I would have opened a payment dispute with my credit institution. Was I wrong to open a double dispute on eBay and PayPal? Will I still be able to get the money back through the PayPal request? Help me, unfortunately I am a person with a disability and I live on a small pension and for me 150 euros is a lot and the box was a gift from me for my birthday. Please help me! Ovviamente non si possono aprire due richieste di rimborso, quindi l'apertura della richiesta su paypal ha provocato la chiusura di quella su ebay.

Non ti resta che attendere la decisione di paypal ed il successivo rimborso.

Ciao marioelegio guarda il venditore mi ha confermato che ha accettato qualche ora fa la mia contestazione fatta tramite PayPal sul sito eBay. Ora cosa succede? Io non ho ancora ricevuto nulla.

Salve,

se ha accettato la contestazione significa che ti ha emesso il rimborso, glielo hai chiesto?

Accettare una contestazione, non implica obbligatoriamente il rimborso... quindi attendi che ebay ti invii la mail di rimborso emesso ma tieni conto che la communicazione tra Paypal ed ebay è molto lenta, ci vorranno circa 20/30 giorni... per questo è sempre meglio prima aprire segnalazione su ebay (ed attendere l'esito) e per ultima spiaggia Paypal.
