Too many identity checks (human being)

I'm an experienced and longtime eBay user. Lately, if I make quick changes to my cart (add or remove items), I'm subjected to an identity check every two actions. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE; IT HUGELY DISTURBS THE USER EXPERIENCE. Does anyone experience the same discomfort?
